Looking to adopt a Cat?

If you are considering adopting a cat, even if it's very early days, the first step is to ring Val for a friendly chat so we can fully understand your needs and circumstances.

We make great efforts to match the right cat to the right home and should a suitable choice not be available we can keep you in mind for the future. Her telephone number is 01903 244478 (do leave a message and your number if she is out and she will get back to you).

For any cat related enquiries concerning admission please ring Jackie on 01444 241538. If you leave a message, please be sure to give your telephone number.

If you send us an email please include your telephone number.

  • We are a small charity covering Mid-Sussex

Though we would very much like to be able to cover a much wider area, unfortunately, practical considerations mean we can normally only realistically consider re-homing cats within a reasonable travelling distance of our base except in special circumstances.

  • Our rescued cats and kittens are best suited to homes where there are no children under 5 years

Some of our cats and kittens have been rescued from difficult circumstances and from our long experience we believe that they will fare best in new homes where there are NO CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS.

  • Have a look at our HOMING PAGE

We update this page regularly with details of our cats that are available for adoption. Please bear in mind that, however hard we try to keep the page up to date, some may have been re-homed by the time you see it.

  • Meet the cats

Every effort is made to find the right home for the right cat and when you visit, our experienced helpers can advise which cats in our care would be suitable for your particular home environment. They will be pleased to answer any queries you may have.

  • Home check

Once you choose a cat we then arrange to do a "home check". This is so we may advise you on any particular problems or concerns. We also take this opportunity to run through some of the many things that need to be considered with a new cat in the home. Once the "home check" is complete, you may collect your pet to start a new life.

  • We do request a donation

All cats are spayed or neutered (unless only kittens), de-flea’d, wormed, microchipped and will have received any vaccinations that are due. As you can appreciate this is quite expensive and we do request a contribution when you collect your new pet.

Please note that viewing cats for re-homing is

strictly by appointment
